Opening remarks: Portrait in profile, with a posture collar, purple hair, and fair complexion.

Contrast: Between the complexion, the hair, and the background, the contrast is stark. A definitive drop exists between the models right side and the back ground, to the point where the front of the collar is hard to distinguish from the back ground.

Posture: A pensive expression, ambiguous enough to let the viewer come to multiple interpretations of the context of the image.

Lighting: Appears to be positioned just above the models head, though drawn into the fore ground. Resultant affect is the light is visible in the models eye, detracting slightly from the rest of the image. Further, while there shadow from the hair seems well minimized else where, the lock just over the left eye detracts from the pale appearance.

Continuity: Considering the background, the models clothes, and hair, the material of the collar detracts from the rest of the composure. It's glossy finish provides a strong reflective surface for the overhead lighting, weakening the contrast between the models shoulders and the collar.
